This is a link to my brother and sister-in-law’s show in the Melbourne International Comedy Festival.
Bernard and Katy toured a show to remote communities and schools in the Centre on a trip with their three children in 2010. This is a new show, I believe, with a comic edge and some extra instruments, including a ram’s horn I saw when it was delivered about six months ago…I’d never heard one before, let alone seen one.

Play That Junky Music takes the audience into an unstaffed junkshop where two crazy customers find an array of fabulous junk that can be turned into ridiculous musical instruments. Before long the performers and the audience are creating some ‘junky music’ together.
Brass Bedlam take the kids on many different, crazy music-filled journeys; from an accident prone fox hunter trying to catch his friends, to a battle of the trumpeters in some Mexican Mariachi madness, with some Can-Can dancing thrown in the middle. The show culminates in performers and audience joining together for a ‘Junkytown’ medley which will leave both kids and adults with a smile on their dial.
The show runs between Tuesdays and Thursdays twice a day for both weeks of the school holidays.
These two come highly recommended by moi as entertainers for your young ‘uns: they are both very experienced performers and watchable comedians as well as lovely people!!
