    Henry Handel Richardson Centenary Writing Competition closes very, very soon. Judged by Helen Garner.

    To celebrate Richardson and her work the Henry Handel Richardson Society of Australia launches its Centenary Writing Competition on the one hundredth anniversary of her only return visit to Australia in 1912.


    Henry Handel Richardson Centenary Writing Competition 

    Category 1 - Adult fiction or nonfiction

    Open to anyone over the age of 18 years, including overseas applicants: A short story or non-fiction essay, up to 5,000 words with some link to Henry Handel Richardson and /or her work.
    Prize: $1000, plus boxed set of The letters of Henry Handel Richardson, edited by Clive Probyn and Bruce Steele.
